On 4-Aug-2007 I joined Karta Technologies Inc.. as a Technical Project Manager. The project seemed interesting as it was a project to migrate or move legacy applications to a more modern environment.

I report directly to the Site Project Manager and am responsibile for the technical delivery of maintenance and development tasks according to approved schedule and budget. I have policy and process implementation responsibility across all of the project systems. I coordinate the activities of the Software Engineers, System Engineer/Architect, and Operation Support Specialists.

My specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical guidance to the staff.
• Ensure that project schedule milestones are being met.
• Oversee the deployment of resources across the project systems.
• Work closely with the Site Project Manager for proper allocation of leveraged resources to the project.
• Coordinate the scheduling of all technical meetings and audits for purposes of configuration management.
• Ensure technical staff follows defined processes and complete record keeping responsibilities for metrics collection.
• Ensure that both project-training needs are being met and work closely with staff through performance reviews to identify career training needs.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Site Project Manager.
